Intern for OST

Dear Potential Intern:

I am very excited to announce a Spring internship program for the State Treasurer’s office! I am looking for talented, self- motivated, energetic individuals who are interested in learning about state government. This internship will open many doors for the selected interns. Our office is small, allowing interns to gain experience with multiple staff members.

My office administers three vital State programs – the Local Government Investment Pool, the College Savings Program, and the Unclaimed Property Unit. Interns will be assigned to one of the three departments; however, interns will not necessarily work exclusively with the assigned department.

Depending on placement, interns will help coordinate events, assist in public relations for the State Treasurer, aid unclaimed property investigations, process critical financial documents and experience how the State Treasurer’s office is run first hand.

We are currently accepting applications for the Internship season. The Spring internship program runs from . Interns will be expected to work a minimum of 10 hours a week. All internships are unpaid with occasional opportunities for hourly compensation.
